Karen A. Barr

Karen Barr has extensive knowledge in planning and implementing fundraising activities, including establishing successful planned giving programs. Prior to joining Davenport & Barr, Inc., she worked as a professional fundraiser for several charitable organizations over a twelve-year period. During that time Karen was instrumental in securing many planned gifts -- including  several six and seven figure commitments. Together with Mike Davenport, Karen is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences. She is a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning and the Upper Valley Planned Giving Council.
