Conference Q&A
Each conference is a two-day event. The target audience are professional fundraisers. Executives, Directors, Managers and representatives of non-profit organizations, trust or foundation representatives are all welcome and will receive practical, yet invaluable information for increasing their donations.

What can you expect?
On the first day, you will be hearing from those representing corporate and private donation units whose responsibility it is to approve or deny grants. The focus of the panel will be to share with attendees how grant makers operate and under what terms they approve donations. Later on that day, you’ll hear from those who have a successful track record of requesting grants. Taking a peek into their both sides of the grant process will give you specific action items for becoming more proficient in your own right.

On the second day, we move to targeted fundraising methodologies. Expect in this discussion session new trends, tried and true basics, hot discussion topics and new modes for increasing fundraising relationships and attracting new donors. We want to make your time out of the office as profitable and cost-effective as possible.

This sounds great, but I don’t have that much time!
We certainly understand how busy life can get. That’s why we are as flexible as you need us to be. You can register for an entire conference or you can just register for the sessions in which you feel you’ll get the most benefit. We want this conference to be beneficial for you any way possible and we feel you are the best judge of your own needs.

I don’t want to spend two days listening to people talk.
Oh – we absolutely understand that. Patterned after the most effective learning experiences, we not only have a panel of experts, we also have moderated discussions, interactive question and answer sessions and an overview of practical next steps to use in the real world.

Why can’t I just buy a book to learn this information?
These conferences are designed to give you options. You can hear multiple different perspectives, learn of new ideas, understand global and local perspectives and meet exciting new people. We are here to provide the best and most up to date information, but just like every fingerprint is unique, so is every organization. The action plan that works best for one organization may not work as well for another, yet both actions plans could be very valid.
In the highly specialize world of non-profit fundraising, building those key relationships with donors and grant makers is key to meeting strategic purposes and success at the organization’s mission. Let OEG Conferences be your knowledge expert conduit for you to develop and exceed!
